Sussex - where else would we find our food? Temptation serves dishes chosen to make the most of what the county has to offer. We are very pleased to learn that once again we were placed in the top 10 in the Brighton Foodie Awards this year. We change our menu every few months, keeping us seasonal and making the most of our latest ideas. Some of our favourites include: Sussex Rarebit - the ultimate cheese on toast made with Ashdown Forester Cheese from Horsted Keynes and Hepworth Sussex Ale from Horsham served with our own home-made chutney. Fine Steak Sandwich - great Aberdeen Angus steak from Ditchling in ciabatta bread baked in Hove with herby mayo or our home-made red onion marmalade. Sussex Breakfast - served all day throughout the week, this indulgent meal combines bacon from Chichester, Westdene Sausages made in Brighton, free range eggs from Maresfield and all the trimmings. Sussex Food Board - choose from a range of Sussex cheese and/or cooked meats, local apple juice, Sussex butter and local bread accompanied with our own home-made chutney. We are fully licensed and have just teamed up with Butlers Wine Cellar in Brighton to offer a new range of wines.
